The main parts of the pump are: pump body, pump cover, impeller, shaft, double suction seal ring, shaft sleeve, shaft seal components, bearings and so on.
Among them, the pump body and the pump cover constitute the workshop of the impeller. The inlet and outlet flanges are provided with the tube screw holes for installing the vacuum gauge and pressure gauge. The lower part of the inlet and outlet flanges is the tube screw holes for discharging water.
The impeller is checked by dynamic balance. The axial position of the impeller can be adjusted by the shaft sleeve nut. The axial force of the impeller can be balanced by the symmetrical arrangement of its blades. There may be some residual axial force borne by the bearing of the shaft end. The pump shaft is supported by two single-row centripetal ball bearings or four centripetal thrust ball bearings, which are installed in the bearing body at both ends of the pump body and lubricated with butter. The double suction seal ring is used to reduce water leakage from the water pump pressure chamber back to the suction chamber.
The pump is driven directly by a motor through a pin coupling.
The S-type pump shaft seal is a soft packing seal. In order to cool and lubricate the sealing chamber and prevent air from entering the pump, a packing ring is installed between the packing. When the pump works, a small amount of high pressure water flows into the packing chamber through the ladder groove on the open surface of the pump cover or the external water sealing pipe component.
The axial seal of the S-type pump can also use the international mechanical seal device to ensure that the pump is watertight under high water pressure.
