Why is the centrifugal pump not allowed to reverse?

The basic structure of centrifugal pump is composed of six parts are impeller, pump body, pump shaft, bearing, sealing ring, packing box.

Centrifugal pump is the use of impeller rotation and make the water centrifugal movement to work.

Before the pump starts, the pump shell and suction tube must be filled with water, and then start the motor, so that the pump shaft drives the impeller and water to do high-speed rotating motion, water centrifugal motion, is thrown to the outer edge of the impeller, through the flow channel of the cochlear pump shell into the water pump pressure pipe.

Centrifugal pump is not allowed to reverse the reason:

Because the impeller of the centrifugal water pump is set, the oil thread in the shaft sleeve is screwed on the shaft, the direction of the screw and the direction of rotation of the shaft is opposite;

So when the pump rotates, it will turn tighter and tighter. If the pump reverses, it is easy to make the shaft sleeve exit and make the impeller loose and produce friction.
